Can I terminate the booking before it expires?

For fixed-term rental agreements, early termination is generally not possible.

You can only end the contract early in exceptional cases, such as:

• You do not receive access to the apartment,
• Access is delayed beyond the move-in date, or
• There is a serious health or safety issue in the apartment.

If your plans change and you wish to move out earlier, you can reach out to your landlord to discuss an early termination. In many cases, landlords are open to ending the contract once a suitable follow-up tenant is found. Our Support Team is happy to help with the communication

Your landlord rents out the apartment commercially?

As a private tenant, you may have a 14-day right of withdrawal when renting from a commercial landlord.

This right applies if you signed the contract online and did not view the apartment in person before signing.

If applicable, the corresponding withdrawal clause will be included in your rental agreement.
