The spa has existed in Soden since 1701. The first spa and bath house was built in 1722. At first this building was known as the "Bender'sche Haus". In 1813 it was renamed the "Frankfurter Hof" and today it is incorporated into the famous Hundertwasserhaus ensemble as the "Haus Bockenheimer".
