Places of interest The proximity to Prenzlauerberg makes Weissensee a perfect area for anyone who likes to escape the crowds and still be near enough to dive in anytime. Weißensee itself offers a swimming lake complete with a beach bar and a surrounding park. It is a popular leisure time destination in Berlin.
