the building is located on the "altonaer balkon", a modern high-rise in a park, among a row of classicist buildings from the 18th century. you can walk from the entrance through the park to the elbe in 2 minutes. there is a high-end supermarket and many restaurants on the elb-straße, there´s also quick and easy transport from the S-Bahn Königstraße, which is only 2 minutes away. from there you´re in altona in 2 minutes, and in hauptbahnhof in 7 minutes.

the apartment is spacious and functional, furnished in a stylish and modern way. i´m using it as a base for working when i´m in hamburg, it´s ideal for one or two people, with the option of having guests for dinner. i find the view mesmerising and calming - there´s no better space to focus when you´re in hamburg. you can even see the elbe from the bathroom - because it´s separated from the bedroom by a glass wall. parties are not allowed.
