The apartment is located in a family house on a main street in Hamburg-Jenfeld / Tonndorf. The small, tastefully and comfortably furnished 1 - room flat is approx. 27 sqm and is located in the attic of the house (built in 1972). It is separated from the private area by an extra flat door; the entrance to the house and the vestibule are shared. In addition to the apartment to be rented, there is also a private guest room of the landlord on the top floor, which is rarely used on the floor. A parking space in the front garden is available and can be used free of charge, also the garden for relaxing/grilling can be used. The flat has a living room and bedroom, a small kitchen and a small toilet/bathroom. The entire flat floor is laid with laminate and all rooms have Velux roof windows, which are all equipped with folding blinds and external heat/sun protection awnings and all rooms have walls with roof slopes. The bathroom has a small storage cupboard, a shower with a glass wall, as well as a washbasin with mirror and base cabinet, a hair dryer is also available. The living room and bedroom is equipped with a light gray wing chair including footstool and a side table, as well as a hairdressing make-up or writing desk with mirror, two built-in cupboards that offer enough space for laundry and other items. A flat screen TV with cable connection and a mini stereo system with USB plug and CD player is also available. The sleeping area is equipped with a bed (140x200) in gray, with 2 drawers and a medium-firm foam mattress. Quilts (155x220), pillows (one 80x80 and one 40x80) and blankets are provided. The small kitchen is new, is equipped with a white built-in counter and a small breakfast area. It has a ceramic cooker with 2 hobs and an extractor bonnet, a mini oven (which is on the worktop), dishwasher and fridge with a freezer compartment. Various kitchen utensils as well as toaster, kettle, blender, small filter coffee machine, cooking utensils, coffee and eating utensils, tea towels are available. Mixers and baking utensils can also be provided on request. The house is conveniently located and there are several good transport links: It is only a few minutes by car to the motorway junction Hamburg-Ost, so that you have good connections, such as towards the Baltic Sea through the A1 towards Lübeck, or towards the south through the A7 towards Hanover and even through the A24 towards Berlin. Connections to Geesthacht, Lauenburg and Lüneburg are also quickly reached. City centre (Hamburg) is approx. 8.7 km away as the crow flies and can be reached by regional train line RB 81, from the stop "Regionalbahnhof Hamburg-Tonndorf" in 15 minutes. It is only three stops from Tonndorf to the main railway station. Otherwise, it takes about 25-40 minutes to get to the city centre by car, depending on traffic conditions. Hamburg's city centre or the Wandsbek shopping centre "Quarree" at Wandsbek Markt are also easily accessible by various forms of public transport: Tonndorf is served by 6 bus lines (9, 27, 29, 167, 567 and 608). Two bus stops are a 2-minute walk away, and the Tonndorf station of the regional train (R81) to Ahrensburg/Bargteheide/Bad Oldesloe or in the direction of the main railway station can be reached on foot within about 10 minutes. The possibility to reach the city centre by bicycle is also very nice; you can choose a very convenient and beautiful route along the Wandse through many green spaces and parks. To the airport it takes about 40 minutes by public transport, by car about 45 - 60 minutes depending on the traffic situation. Surroundings: Tonndorf is extremely green overall and has several parks, such as the Eichtalpark. From there you can go for a nice walk through a green belt and reach the Außenalster. There is also a bathing beach in Tonndorf, the "Freibad Ostende", which can be found at Tonndorfer Strand 37 and is open from May to September. A nice place where you can relax and cool off on hot days. Only a 5-minute walk from the flat on Tonndorfer Hauptstraße, you will find the small shopping centre "Tondo", where you will find the large REWE supermarket, smaller shops, opticians, dry cleaners, a Haspa cash machine, a pharmacy and doctors. Outside the "Tondo" shopping centre, on Tonndorfer Hauptstraße, there is also Studio Hamburg with its canteen, a petrol station and other small shops, such as a fish shop, flower shop, snack bar, hairdresser and restaurants. There is also a small shopping centre 15 minutes' walk away: "Berliner Platz", where you will find the supermarkets LIDL, ALDI and REWE, as well as the bank, post office, launderette, pharmacy, bookshop, Rossmann, pizza delivery service and other types of snack.
